Rubber; 99% latex-free and free from PVC, toxic plastics or harmful dyes (manufacturer's information).
Cleaning:
Simply wipe the mat down, ideally with a 50/50 mixture of water and organic apple cider vinegar. Do not machine wash, soak, or use soap, as this would damage the material. If the mat is still damp after practice, let it dry before rolling it up. Do not expose the mat to direct sunlight.
Storage:
We recommend rolling the mat up rather than folding it – folding is only advisable for travel. Store it in a shaded place.
Slip resistance:
As the closed rubber surface doesn't absorb moisture, the mat can become slightly slicker with very heavy sweating – in this case, we recommend using a yoga towel as well.
Rubber is a natural material, so the mat's colour may fade slightly over time.
