Dr. Eyal Shifroni has practised yoga since 1978 and has taught Iyengar yoga since 1985. In 1988 he first studied at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI) in Pune directly under B.K.S. Iyengar, and has returned regularly ever since. In 2009, Iyengar himself awarded him the Senior Intermediate III certificate. He directs the "Iyengar Yoga Center of Zichron-Ya'akov" in Israel.
